The real 'Casciotta d'Urbino DOP' is produced exclusively in the territory of the province of Pesaro-Urbino, according to ancient techniques today strictly certified.

Its sixteenth-century origins make it one of the oldest cheeses in Italy. Its production is subject to a strict disciplinary of Protected Designation of Origin which guarantees its authentic typicality. The 'Casciotta d'Urbino DOP' comes from a mixture of sheep's milk (70-80%) and cow's milk (20-30%). It is a soft and crumbly cheese with a sweet and pleasantly pleasant taste. Fresh and creamy, the 'Casciotta d'Urbino D.O.P.', is the protagonist of the table at all hours: for small appetizers, paired with pears or figs, or for fillings with fresh pasta. It is excellent, among other things, for side dishes cooked on the griddle and even if heated and left to cool, it remains soft and tasty.
